Citibank Debt Collection Complaint

I filed a complaint here earlier this year about -. Since i filed the complaint the company claimed they send a letter to the credit bureau to remove the account from my report. - and - deleted the account but - still reporting the account as collection. i called the company few times about -, they said they already send a letter to them but when i disputed it - said the company respond the debt is valid. I disputed the account again two weeks ago again - said the conpany respond the debt is valid. This account is a bank account my exwife open with Citibank and went into collection. I do n't know whats their situation with her i just want to know how the account related to me. If this was a joint account then as i requested before, i 'm requesting the copies of the identification i used and the page i sign. I understand it 's their job to collect, well it 's my job to verify to debt they 're collecting. The Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, gives me the right to request validation of this debt. i have requested it, it was n't provided to me.
