Discover Credit card department,
Closing/Cancelling account Washington
Discover Card closed my account without my consent or notice. It is a credit card I kept active due to the higher credit limit on it, and it was one of my longer held accounts which has an overall affect on my credit score. I am extremely disappointed that credit companies are allowed to do this, knowing the way the credit scoring system is set up, and the detrimental damage it can cause to the consumer! This policy that these companies can use to close dormant accounts needs to be changed!
