I had an vehicle loan through Wells Fargo Dealer Services ( WFDS ) which I recently paid off ( -/-/- ). Upon closure of the account, WFDS added a line to my account that said Consumer Disputes After Resolution Closed Or Paid Account / - Balance '' to my Credit Report. This is inaccurate - at no point have a disputed anything related to this account, and it has negatively affected my credit score, over - points for TransUnion. I have sent a fax to the Wells Fargo Credit Dispute department asking for them to remove the line, and they have been wholly unresponsive after a month. I did write a Goodwill Letter to them this summer, asking if they would remove a 30 day late payment from -/-/-, however I have never disputed the late payment.
