We went through Home Depot 's project loan, representative - -, to have our roof replaced this summer. They hired contractors ( - - - ) that not only caused $15000.00 dollars worth of siding damage while taking 2 extra days to complete the job, they were also drinking alcohol while doing our roof. We received an offer from that contractors insurance company for $7500.00 half of what it will cost to have it replaced. Home Depot called us this morning and said these exact words " We stand behind the contractors insurance '' which means Home Depot is not going to do ANYTHING to fix or make this situation right. We still owe and need to pay the $14000.00 for the replacement of the roof AND now come up with the $7700.00 to fix the siding. We 've been in touch with - - and - - from Home Depot in regards to the price of the roof and nothing there has been handled or changed price wise. Not only has this been stressful but has been a financial hardship for us.
