I have been a Chase customer for 15 years. I have - accounts with them, including - accounts with direct deposit. Every so often on a Thursday night, I have to pull money from an account I have with them to insure against any potential fees since my deposits take place on Friday mornings. I did so this week by pulling over $400.00 to an account which was cutting it close. My check came in the next morning for around $3500.00. I still was charged with a pair of $34.00 insufficient funds fees because in the mixed bag of electronic deposits and debits a few of the latter slipped in before the deposit and I was penalized. I went through - levels of customer service reps the next morning and each said I was not eligible for any other fees being forgiven due to this happening before. It seems in the matrix of electronic transactions, it 's the credits that always get processed last. I told them they were going to lose a 15 year customer and six accounts for the sake of $68.00 and they did n't shed a tear. I know they have to follow certain guidelines but is there any personal touch any more? How ridiculous. Every level I went I got the same company line.
