So this is maybe like the third or fourth time Chase has overdrafted my college checking account for an " everyday expense, '' though the agreement I signed explicitly states that in the case of insufficient funds Chase is to decline, not accept my card. It was an option I specifically indicated as such to avoid problems like this. On -/-/15, with the latest charge before being two days before on -/-/-, and with an indicated balance of $4.00, Chase approved a $7.00 " everyday expense '' from the local - leaving my account at - $3.00. I sent them a message about it, kind of upset because this is the third or fourth time, and they generically responded as though this was n't their fault. I 've had overdraft fees apply everytime before as I 'm sure they 're getting ready to pin me this time ...
