Discover Credit card department,

Closing/Cancelling account Texas

Discover Bank closed - my oldest credit line due to inactivity ( 24 months ) without providing any notice or warning! I received online their " decision '' on -/-/2015, but the card was closed -/-/2015. I was planning to make large purchase on it and now I am left with nothing. I have - and I was not able to call them ; so instead I contacted their customer service online and asked them to reinstall the card, but they refused. I was told to reapply for credit again??
