PayPal Credit card department,
Advertising and marketing Virginia
Paypal Credit ripped me off. Signed up for a credit account that was " No Payments and No interest on purchases for 6 months ''. I made a charge of $1500.00. Two months later, I purchased something for $50.00. I was charged interest on the $50.00 charge. I found out after calling Paypal Credit that " if I read the fine print '', I would have seen that the " promotional '' 0 % was only for purchases $99.00 and up. However, they did NOT make that clear when I made the $50.00 purchase. If a credit card company is advertising " No Payments and No Interest for 6 months '', the assumption to any consumer is that is the case. As someone who has a stellar credit rating ( because I watch my fiances like a hawk ), this should not have gotten past me. So, I can only imagine consumers who do n't look as carefully getting ripped off by these crooks otherwise known as Paypal Credit.
