Credit card Disclosure verification of debt Not given enough info to verify debt Florida

There is an account that is my wife 's only and now showing up on my credit file because it is delinquent. I never signed to be financially responsible for this account and when it was positive it was not showing on my report. I tried to resolve and this company has nothing I signed. Please help me
