AES/PHEAA Student loan department,

My husband and I took out a loan for our daughter to attend a private high school though AES/NCT. My husband I split up and it went into default. As of - 2015 it was paid in full. - - has taken it off the credit report but it is still on the other reports. I have called AES ( American Education Services ) several times and have contacted the credit bureaus. The credit bureaus tell me AES needs to remove it and AES tells me they no longer own it so they wo n't remove it. I have disputed this several times with the credit bureaus, each time they tell me AES states that I am still responsible. As this has been settled through a third party ( - - - -. ), how do I have this negative reporting removed since this account has been settled?.
