Non-federal student loan Can't repay my loan Can't decrease my monthly payments New Jersey

I am currently a - year old - student at - University. I have my -, and have been working in my field, while trying to obtain a full-time position. I work full-time hours, but only bring in about $1400.00 a month. Unfortunately, I took out private loans with NJClass at the very young, uneducated ( in terms of loans ), and naive age of -, without realizing the situation I would eventually be in. NJClass is asking me to pay $1600.00 a month, which is impossible for me. I have called - of times to try and work out some sort of payment plan, but they refuse to work with me. My parents are cosigners, but my dad was laid off last year, and they are already struggling to make ends meet without my loans being a factor. I am not asking for my loans to be forgiven. I am not asking to pay very little. All I 'm asking is for NJClass to lower my monthly repayment to a price that is livable for me until I get a full-time job.
