I took out a new vehicle loan -/-/- with Wells Fargo. From the very - month, I was told that I could make payments to my loan using my Wells Fargo account. Wells Fargo has established another company within itself called Wells Fargo Dealer Services, and they do not communicate with each other in regards to electronic payments. When payments are taken out of - Wells Fargo Checking Accounts, they take up to 2+ business days to arrive and be processed at Wells Fargo Dealer Services - They also do not communicate with - another in terms of when payments are submitted or if they are going to be showing up as late '' within a system. Sometime -/-/-, I attempted to set up an automatic payment within Wells Fargo, but that system never worked and I missed my - payment, causing me to be 30+ days late sometime -/-/-. When I noticed the payment had not posted, I paid what was
days behind on my payments. Each month, when I would make a payment thereafter, resulted in my being charged on my credit report as 30+ days late. I again attempted to set up a auto-pay -/-/-, and once again it failed. Once I realized it, there were now - missing payments and I began making frantic phone calls to Wells Fargo to figure out what I could do and how I could make things right. It was then that I discovered the - different companies. Wells Fargo Dealer Services has began looking into transaction dates, as if they could resolve this and tell me to go away '' because it 's entirely my fault the payments are late. When you have a parent company that takes 4+ days to provide funds for a loan to itself, then docks the person who 's making the payment because it 's late - I think there 's both a LARGE communication issue and potential fraud within their systems. I have repeatedly requested them to see that there was a mistake on my part and ask for an adjustment to all my late charges within the credit agencies, but this request is being met with continual denial.
