Our loan was purchased by Santander Consumer from - and they are saying we opted to skip a whole year worth of payments during the time the loan was with -. We never authorized payments to be skipped and Santander can not provide me with documentation proving we made the authorization. The loan matured in - and continues to accrue late fees and interest. I have making payments but recently lost my job and the remaining balance of $1500.00 is being deemed due immediately or they will pick up the 2005 - - with no option to work out the remaining $1500.00 balance. In reality we should have paid the loan in full in - and need proof from Santander that we in fact approved the payments to be skipped.
