JPMorgan Chase Credit card department,
Credit determination Minnesota
Chase informed me yesterday that I had to pay a debt that they say I had in the amount of $2000.00 in order to have credit. This is discrimination. Please read everything here. Chase placed a 30 day late payment on my account ending in - and I am requesting full documentation on this incident since the opening of the account and the removal of this from my credit reports. This was a new Slate card just opened and I never received any kind of statement of notification on this new account. I was also charged a late fee at the time and contacted Chase. They realized their mistake and removed the late fee but refuse to remove the - late on my reports. I have been in the banking industry for years as Credit Manager, Supervisor, Underwriter and this is just wrong by Chase. I also need this info to present to my attorney for action toward Chase. I responded to Chase 's email yesterday and contacted them by phone about this 30 day late again and they refused to do anything. I have been trying to resolve this for quite some time with no luck. I closed all
idea what it was. Chase must really have issues, here is my question. If I had a collection for an account through Chase some 15 years ago that was never collected on, why would I then be approved and have - cards through Chase with limits over - after the fact? I asked them that question yesterday to only get no response on the subject. One of the many representatives did comment however that it makes no sense and she had to refer me to another person. Also payments were always made on time on all my - cards through Chase. What is going on over there. Please send me info on this other account you say I had and remove the 30 day off my account ending in -. This is a great example of bank corruption and how it negatively has an effect on the consumer who gets the blame. This is discrimination and defamation of character to the consumer. How can Chase issue - credit cards that I have had for years and then give me the reason for denial of credit because of an account I have no idea about that was in collection so they say but have no idea. I have worked for - -, - - - - - - - and -. Chase has issues and very very poor customer service. Why if I was so wrong would I close all my accounts through them? I can not believe they can get by with things like this.
