Incorrect information on credit report Account status Ohio

I filed for bankruptcy 4 years ago, and have - - - credit card which I pay the amount due every month, for well-over two years. Even so, my credit rating does n't improve. YET, this week, when I signed up for a new cable service ( to allow me to save $120.00 a month! ), my credit was downgraded a few points, erasing cherished positive points that are so hard to come by. Understanding the bankruptcy remains for years, I feel it is totally unfair and a complete disincentive to punish '' credit holders like me for applying for new credit, while NOT rewarding me for paying off my debt monthly. I am getting this info from Credit Karma, though I do n't know if they are the guilty party. I believe it 's - or all - of the credit tracking companies.
