The loan was paid off in -/-/-, by me refinancing the loan soley in my name with - - -. - - advised me that the amount they were going to send to AES was about - over the payoff amount, just to make sure the loan is paid off and the remandier shoud be sent back to them. I called when the account reflected the account was paid in full. They stated that the check will be sent in 30 days. A few weeks later that told me that they had a invlaid address for me and that they needed my address to send the check, however, every time I call I verify my address. I re-verified my address, they stated that a check would be sent in 10 business days. I waited a little over two weeks to check the status of the refund, they then stated that it would take 30 days. I waited 30 days and did not receive a check. I emailed them about the status, never received a response ; thus, I called a week later to check the status, they stated that a email was sent to the treasury department a week after they received the email from me requesting the status. During this conversation they stated they do not know what is going on with the check. This company keeps giving me the run around about an overpayment for a loan that was paid in full.
