BB&T Financial Consumer loan department,
Vehicle loan Managing the loan or lease Maryland
I submitted a contract in - 2015 to purchase a new construction home. Shortly thereafter, my financing was approved. I am scheduled to close on my home on - -, however, when my mortgage company needed to recheck my credit last week, they found that the automobile loan that I had co-signed for was 3-months past due. However, the lender never contacted me when the loan was 1-month past due when I am the co-signer/owner of that vehicle. This issue could have been resolved without this damaging my credit and lowering my credit score prior to closing on my new home as a first-time homebuyer.
