-/-/- I received an auto loan through Santander Consumer USA. The amount financed was $14000.00. The terms are $350.00 per month for 60 months at 17.15 % interest. This loan has been deferred several times moving my maturity date -/-/-. As of today, my loan is current, but there is a discrepency in the total of my remaining payments and what the finance company states the balance is. They are stating that the balance is $8100.00. I have 14 months left on my loan at $350.00, which totals $5000.00, leaving a $3000.00 discrepancy. I contacted them and spoke with -. She was extremely rude, stating this is a simple interest loan. She stated she would email me the payment history and I would have to speak with an accountant, then simply hung up on me. I contacted a Loan officer at my bank today who reviewed the information, and also saw this discrepancy. She told me to contact The Bureau of Consumer Financial Protection and Better Business Bureau, and file complaints.
