CNAC ( J D Byrider d/b/a CNAC aka - -, - -, -, IN -, - ) delivered a Faulty automobile title, + held my own sale hostage while demanding a phony claim payment of $110.00. My CNAC statement clearly and unequivocally states Paid in Full - No Balance Due ). On - -, - I purchased a - - - - at J D Byrider / CNAC, and used their CNAC financing. On - -, - I closed my loan with CNAC and received a signed statement Payment in Full, no balance ''. Upon closing my sale of my car - yrs later on - -, -, I discovered that CNAC had in - sent me some sort of FAULTY DUPLICATE Title ( of which I had no knowledge or awareness necessary to ID a faulty/unacceptable title ). CNAC now ( on -/-/- ) claimed some bogus balance due + interest/fees equaling $110.00. They would not provide the actual title unless I paid them. SO CNAC held my sale HOSTAGE for an INAPPROPRIATE, PHONY claim. I did not expect this problem so I did not have the
Payment in Full, no balance ''. I had no choice but to pay CNAC, otherwise I would lose my sale. As a large financial firm, I can not believe this is an innocuous, honest mistake. Rather this appears to be a phony rip-off, hoping that prior customers do not have their paperwork, allowing CNAC to strong-arm customers for bogus fees and claims, while using faulty titles as - mechanism. And regardless, as a large financial firm, CNAC/J D Byrider has a duty, including Truth in Lending standards, to maintain accurate records and provide accurate, honest documents. Upon requesting the assistance of the -, CNAC chose to blatantly ignore and not even reply to - - inquiries. A reputable company with a legitimate position on a matter would never just ignore an inquiry. That intransigence further indicates CNAC is knowingly and willfully engaging in Faulty Claims, Faulty Documents, Misrepresentations, and numerous Truth-in-Lending violations and disregard.
