Citibank Consumer loan department,
Installment loan Managing the loan or lease Georgia
I took out a loan with One Main Financial for $7500.00 around -/-/- and in -/-/-, the company did a deferment payment without my consent. But, my main problem is the amount that they put towards the actual balance of the loan. My monthly payments are $270.00 each month and from -/-/- to -/-/-, nothing from the amount I paid was applied to the balance. The first payment of $92.00 was applied to the balance on -/-/-. They did another deferment without my consent in -. I was confused. On -/-/- I made a payment of $300.00 and nothing went toward the balance. On -/-/- I made a payment of $150.00 and nothing went toward the payment. In my opinion, this is criminal. I do understand that I was in need of financial assistance at the time and things were difficult but I have been paying this bill over a course of 2 years and I still have a balance of $6300.00. There is something that should be done to balance out. I do understand about interest and that the company has to make money but I find this to be unjust. This is taking advantange of people.
