I am having an issue w/Well Fargo Nat'l Bank @ - - -, - -, - - in that I recently p/o my debt to them IN FULL, in the amt. of $48.00 & $ -, - separate chks. I mailed the chks., w/the bill a FULL days days ahead. The bill was due -/-/-, they have repeatedly held my chk. to be able to stick me w/a LATE FEE & in this case, in addition to the late fee, chg. me INTEREST, as well. I just rec 'd a bill in the mail for $71.00 & they have closed my acct. They are a horrible bank to deal with! I am a recent widow & only get pd. once mo. & send all bills currently due the - of every month. I have sent them a letter, stating my complaint & that I am contacting the FTC. I have NO plans to pay for the late fee nor added interest. These institution is schiestering people constantly - I have had enough of it.
