Credit card Cont'd attempts collect debt not owed Debt resulted from identity theft New Jersey

Amex credit card account from Macy 's had fraudulent charges on account ( an account which I have never used, and is opened automatically and in addition to the store revolving account ). In -/-/-, I contacted Macy 's fraud department to get this resolved when I noticed the charges. I am still waiting on receiving paperwork from them to continue this process. I have spent countless hours on the phone trying to receive this paperwork, but am not receiving it at my house in the mail. All other mail I have no problems receiving from other people. They are unwilling to send it to my email or by registered mail. At one point for a few weeks in -/-/- they shut down their phone system resulting in countless more hours spent on the phone with other Macy 's departments trying to reach the fraud investigation department. In the meantime, Macy 's debt collection has been harassing me, calling as much as 4 times a day, to try to force me to pay this debt that I do not owe from identity theft. I have spent countless more hours on the phone with them explaining that Macy 's fraud investigation told me not to pay this debt I do not owe, but they do not stop calling. Sometimes, when I start to yet again explain the situation, they just hang up on me. The departments are not communicating with each other, resulting in non stop harassment of me.
