This complaint is regarding my South West Rapid Rewards card ending in -. In or around - of 2014, I gave - verbal authorization over the phone to charge a down payment of $100.00 dollars to my credit card for a down payment on a car a friend was purchasing. - - proceeded to charge my card $1000.00 dollars which i disputed with Chase next billing cycle. Chase issued me a credit and started the investigation. Chase then reversed the credit of $900.00 and charged me $900.00 dollars for a payment I never made nor can the vendor show any proof I authorized any charge that I gave them permission to charge my card anymore than $100.00. Chase has failed to protect me as their customer and I will also be reporting this to The Consumer Protection Agency.
