I was charged a return check fee in error in - of 2015 by Barclaycard -. I called their customer service line and was assured that it had been removed. When my payment date came and went in -, I was charged a late payment fee as well as interest on the borrowed money. I called again to complain about this issue, was told that - the original returned check fee as well as the late payment/interest fees had been removed and that the information should show up on my account in 2 business days. 2 days later, the interest and late payment fees had been removed, but I still had a balance from the returned check fee. So I called again and was told that the return check fee had already been removed and that it should have shown up on my account. It still had not and so I was again told that the original returned check fee should be removed and that it should show up again on my account. This time I waited a couple weeks more before checking again and again seeing that it had not been resolved. This back and forth went on through another payment date and again i was charged a late fee and interest on the account. I 've called again and am waiting for them to call me back in 3 days to confirm that everything has been resolved and my balance is at -.
