We closed on a home and need to forward the funds to current mortgage. We had the escrow officer deposit the amount to our Wells Fargo account as a cashiers check so it would be available within a day but they are holding it for more than seven days! Our escrow officer said that was illegal to detain our funds and so we are following up with the appropriate agency 's involved.
