I took out a car loan of $5000.00 from Wells Fargo -/-/-. I have made monthly payments, including a $3500.00 payment -/-/-, towards the balance due under the loan agreement. I am disputing the application of my payments to unaccrued interest instead of principal. The amount that should have been applied to principal instead of interest over the past year is $86.00. I have called the Bank, I have gone into the Bank and talked with a loan officer, and I have written - letters. The last letter I sent was on -/-/- and I have received no response nor have they corrected the error. Is this the type of matter the BCFP can help me with? I am on Social Security - and only make $20000.00 a year, so this is a big deal for me while I 'm sure it is an insignificant one for the Bank.
