I called the original company who I had the debt with and was told I was no longer in their system and I should call the collection company. I called the number listed on my credit report for - Collections but the number was no longer in service. Then, I noticed that this same open collection with - was closed in - 2015, on my credit report. I have never received any calls or letters from -. I would - to see if this can be permanently removed from my credit reports.
