On - -, 2015 at around - - I went to deposit money into my chase account. I had given the ATM the cash and it started verifying it then it said the ATM was unavailable. I then called customer service where they said i had to file a dispute. I then got transferred and file the dispute with someone else. The gentlemen on the phone said they would give me a credit to my account while they did the investigation, that the investigation would take 10 days and i would have an answer or my money back by - -. On Monday - - i got a notification on my phone about my account being overdrawn. I logged in to check what was going on and it showed the credit had been reversed. I immediately call customer service and ask whats going on they said the investigation had ended and they found nothing. I told the guy that it was n't fair they stole my money and now i have to pay them back, and now on top of everything they 're going to charge me overdraft fees because they stole my money and wont give it back? He
every week, I do n't know how this investigation took so long. I 've never had something like this happen to me at my previous bank. On - - - i called the chase bank located on -, i told the man who answered what was going on, i gave him my information ( Debit card that was used to make deposit at atm, date and time the issue occurred, how much the deposit was for and a call back number ) he said he would call me back by the end of business day. Never called me back. - - I called the customer service number for FDIC they said i should file this complaint. Now i called the bank one more time, today - - at - -, they gave me a number to call and request the footage from that number, it was just chase customer service, the person i then spoke to said i need to file a police report so the police can obtain the footage. I called the police and i now have to go in and file a report. When i summarized what was going on, the police officer i spoke to sounded surprised chase would n't give me the footage. I 've always heard great things from chase and that 's why i opened an account there, i was planning on taking my 401k there after the - month. I 'm glad i did n't do it right away.
