On my account with Chase Bank, they can only hit your account with - NSF Charges on any given day. Chase has started to split this up and just process additional charges days after the charge has hit the account, and after direct deposits have been posted. Case in point, on - they hit me with - NSF Charges, my direct deposit was deposited on the -, they come back and hit me with - additional NSF charges on -. Also in -, they processed - on - -, direct deposit on the last day of the month, so they come back on - and charge me - more on -, - on - and - on -. I do n't think this is why they have a limit of - NSF charges a day.
