From - - to - -, I received - calls from One Main Financial, placed from phone numbers -, -, -, and -. - of those calls were made to me at - and - call at - When the calls went to voice mail a message was left telling me to contact One Main Financial about an important financial matter. When I called, they wanted my loan number ( I do n't have - - I have no financial dealings with One Main Financial ) or my social security number, which I refused to provide since I do n't know if this company is legitimate. On the occasions they reached me directly, I would tell them the person they wanted was not at this number and they should stop calling me, but the calls continued. I gave them my name and phone number and they acknowledged they had no record of me in their database. From - - to -, I called them daily telling them to stop placing calls to my phone number and was told a supervisor would take care of that, but the calls continued. Finally, on - -, I was told that they were calling - and trying to reach - - or - -. The operator had no idea why she had incorrectly called my number, which differs by - digit, but that she would report it to a supervisor. Most of the calls were received on my voice mail, and when calling the number they left, it was difficult to reach a live operator, the operator refused to direct me to a supervisor, and promised to fix the problem, which was often not done. No operator was available after hours in Texas. Calls were placed outrageously early and interrupted my sleep. No one ever apologized for the disruption of having debt collectors unjustifiably calling my number several times daily, filling up my voice mail, and possibly conducting fraud by asking for my social security number.
