Good day, On - - -, 2015 I had to have some papers copied to give to a new landlord the Wells Fargo bank branch that I am a member of was open right before the holiday since, most business were closed and the bank was opened I went in to see if I could get the copies made that I needed and I was able to get the copies made. Nevertheless, while I was having the copies made - a branch employee of the Wells Fargo Bank and a new employee started to tell me how getting a secured credit card would help me get the apartment I was looking to move into since I was facing a 60 day evection notice and I was trying to move before the time limit expired since, I am on section - and have a good record and never have gone through an evection and did not want my record to have one. so I went through the intake process for a secure credit card .At the time - tole me he would call me to tell me weather I was approved or not and I left the bank to take care


2 ) I did not receive a temporary card for the new account ''. 3 ) And this is the most important issue I have I did not receive the phone call telling me wether or not I was approved for the Secured Card ''. Therefore, when the - U.S. dollars was taken out of my account I was taken back because I did not think I was approved for the Secured Card because I was not notified of the transaction by any means the money was just taken out of my account. The next step I took was to call the bank, at which time I was told I need to go into the branch and talk to - so, when I did he said he did call me and that my phone was not working, now the real issue was - did not know to put a ( wait for it ) - '' in front of a LONG distance phone number ''. '' and that is why he could not reach me ''. With this kind of mistake I can not do business or I do not want a Secure Card '' and I asked to have the funds returned to my account and because it was only 3 '' working days since I had signed up for the Secure card I did not see any reason for it not to be reversed. I was told though that they could keep the - U.S. dollars if they wanted but they might take 7-10 day if they return it. Finally, this is not right and it was not explained to me at the time I signed the paperwork otherwise I would have declined the card . They did this same thing in California and the State Attorney general in that state brought fraud charges against Wells Fargo in similar cases. what would you like the business to do to settle your complaintGood day, put the - U.S dollars back into my account in a timely manner and now that I have had to file a complaint they should have to pay interest at 3.5 % which is much lower than if I were using there Secure Card '' which would be more along the line of - % interest ... - -
