Medical Cont'd attempts collect debt not owed Debt was paid Colorado

I received debt collection notices for medical bills that were not properly due. The insurance company was still reviewing the claims when I received the notice and the insurance company did pay the claims, resulting in a credit on my account with the hospital. Several weeks after the credit was applied to my account, I am still getting notices from the collection company, although the hospital agrees that there is no debt due and instead there is a credit on my account. I called the collection company and they were not very helpful and do not seem to be able to work with the hospital to clear the account.
