U.S. Bancorp Credit card department,
I received a no-interest for one year '' credit card in - 2014 from US Bank. After I paid off a balance at a cash advance '' business with the credit card, US Bank started charging me interest on the balance that I paid off. I have contacted them 2 times regarding being charged interest on what is essentially a balance transfer and they insist that it was a cash advance '' and that they are justified in charging me interest on that balance. I never received any cash from the credit card, simply gave the credit card number to the cash advance store to pay it off. My last communication with US Bank included a copy of the receipt for the payoff, but they still insist they are justified in charging me interest.
