U.S. Bancorp Credit card cash advance July 1, 2015 - I received a no-interest for one year '' credit card in - 2014 from US Bank. After I paid off a balance at a cash advance '' business with the credit card, US Bank started charging me interest on the balance that I paid off. I have contacted them 2 times regarding being charged interest on what is essentially a balance transfer and they insist that it was a cash advance '' and that they are justified in charging me interest on that balance.
