Credit monitoring or identity protection Account terms and changes Connecticut
Yesterday I received a letter from a mortgage company informing me that my credit history had too many delinquencies '' and othe negative items that lowered my credit. All - credit agencies supposedly reported these issues. Last night I filed a complaint about -. Tonight my it 's Experian.I had received my free report from them a few months ago and except for - incorrect address, it was good and accurate. I asked to see my report again to find out what is going on with my credit, and the website charged $1.00 to get a report. Now I received an e-mail from them congratulating '' me on joining their
product and I want to cancel it NOW. Your program is misleading. It did not clearly state that by sending you $1.00, I would be subject to a $ - monthly fee in 7 days. Your opt out '' in seven days is hardly enough time for the poor unfortunate who does n't catch that clause in time. I am reporting you to the US Consumer Protection Bureau. - - -PS : I do not appreciate your falsifying my credit report with damaging information that bears no resemblance to the same credit history that you sent me just a few months ago.
