Other bank product/service Problems caused by my funds being low Illinois
The issue is that JPMorgan Chase own travel site at ( chase.com ) for members lists fake fares and when the booking is made it automatically switches the prices to a higher level. Enclosed please find the message to Chase Executive Office that was originally not responded to. Also the company insisted on verbal communication and not email which is indicative of systemic issue rather than isolated one. There is a problem with your vendor that performs flight reservation service on behalf of Chase for its members. Yesterday and today I attempted to book a ticket to fly - and to utilize my accrued points total ( +/- - ). Any time I would select the available rate that lists the flight in $ - range that is listed as available I got a message in process of booking that the rate is no longer available and listing exactly the same flight at on average $300.00 higher rate. For example the flight departing - - on - - : - -, - - ( - - ) - -, -, Return - - - -, - - that was offered as available for $810.00 has automatically been re-selected during the
- - and - days after - - that is listed as available after that date. Why is then Chase site listing fake pricing on flights that it has no intention to honor and it bait and switches people in process of booking? I travel extensively internationally and since I often use booking sites such as -, -, -, - and - I have never seen any fare being made suddenly unavailable in process of booking and rescheduled at the higher rate. I think that Federal Laws specifically prohibit games such as this as airlines are under legal obligation to list all fares including all applicable taxes and fees to prospective consumers, no exceptions. I would appreciate if Chase addresses this issue to make sure what happened to me does n't happen to anyone else and to honor the rate it has on its site or stop offering the travel services altogether.
