Issue # 1- JP Morgan Chase Bank filed a claims without my authorization, although on phone call, I clearly and repeatedly stated that I did not want a claim filed. This cause my - bill to go unpaid and my account to be in suspension. When asked to send a letter to the merchant to exhort me and state that it was a bank error, they categorically declined my request by saying it is not bank protocol to send out letters to merchant of any sorts. Issue # 2- Same Chase Bank erroneously sent my water bill payment to my address. I called them to notify them of the error and they could not pinpoint how such error came about and suggested to put a stop payment on the check although the check was in my possession. I informed the representative with whom I was on the phone that I would report to the bank in the morning to return the check and get the funds back on my account. Upon my arrival, the director informed me that no such thing could be done because of the stop payment placed on the check. I had to wait 5 days for the process to take place before funds can reflect back on my account. Again, their action placed my water payment in delinquency status. Chase Bank, again failed to take action for their wrong doing and refused to honor me with a letter explaining the error committed by the bank.
