Because of a lawsuit that my partner and I have, we asked for a cash advance. We were sent - checks : - in his name and - in my name. The - in my name was delivered to me, but the - in his name was nothe had to go in person to get it. I took him to get it and he presented his ID, but according to them it wasnt valid. He showed his papers from the attorney who is helping with his - case ( he lost all of his documents ), and he also showed them an income tax return with his Social Security Number, and they just told him that the money transfer was there and that it had been paid, but they werent going to give it to him. He asked if he could get it with a letter from the lawyer or a notarized letter from several witnesses, and they just told him not to waste his time. They closed my account because according to them they couldnt prove who he was. When we asked them why they didnt just transfer the money to the bank that issued it if they werent going to give it to us, they told us that eventually the money would be sent to our house, but that could take months or even years. I think that this shows a huge lack of respect, and it is abusive behavior toward a couple of people who are only claiming whats theirs. We have a critical situation involving a - child.
