I requested a charge back from a company that did not honor their return policy on -/-/15 with Chase Bank, they issued a temporary credit but I received a letter on -/-/15 stating that Chase is temporarily holding the credit due to the account being closed due to a balanced owed of $210.00. The closed account that they 're referring to was also closed on - -, 2015 when a credit was accepted & the balance of $210.00 was taken care of & the remaining money was credited to my savings account without question or incident, so I do n't understand why this form of action was taken instead of how it was previously handled. It 's going on 2 months that this has been going on so why am I still waiting on a response from the merchant when I supplied the bank with the shipping receipt, an email showing correspondence of the return process & stated the fact that the company had no plans on rightfully returning my money although they received their merchandise back, their exact words were my bank, the - nor the consumer protection bureau regulate their actions. The matter of the closed account for $210.00 has been taken care of & considered as settled as of -/-/15, so this temporary hold dated a month after this matter was considered settled should n't have occured, it did n't happen with the first charge back.
