Back in - 2014 I either lost or someone stole my Debit card. A fraudulent check was deposited to my account through the ATM and funds removed ... I had maybe $3.00 or $4.00 dollars in account when I went to use it I was told my transaction was declined so I went on line to check balance and saw a transaction for food ( which I did not buy ) but also there was a pending deposit for I think it was $2500.00 or $2900.00. The next day I went to the bank and informed them. I asked them if they could cancel the card and issue me a new one. They said no problem, we did that, they said I would get a new card in the mail and did I want a temporary card. Since I was n't expecting my - check for at least another two weeks I said I would wait till new card came in. I kept calling them about reversing the charge for my $3.00 or $4.00 which when they finally did I was told they were closing the account and choosing not to open me a new one. At that time I did not pursue it cause I was dealing with a - in the family, and I just transferred my - direct deposit to my other bank account. I never got anything in the mail as far as I recall. Recently I opened a business account and deposited checks made out to the company and when I went to make payroll I found out that they had put a freeze on the account. I did n't know I could n't do business with them or that they were holding me accountable for what happened back in -/-/-. I lost the company contract because I could not make payroll .... I do n't know what to do or how to fix this problem. I 'm - it 's not too many companies that are going to give me a chance like this again.
