When we opened our account, we were told by the branch manager that the - $100.00 of each check deposit into our business account would be made available the same day. We made - separate deposits at the same time and was able to log in online to see that we indeed had -, $100.00 hundred dollar pending transactions. Overnight, BB & T reveresed - of the $100.00 deposits charging us overdraft fees. This occurred on -/-/15. If the bank actually receives and deposit clears the same day, then the funds should also post the same day. Check - should work both ways and for the consumer and not just against the consumer. BB & T back dates deposits creating confusion. For instance, if I make a deposit on -/-/15 for $500.00 but only the - $100.00 is made available that day, then both online and the statement should read deposit of $100.00 on -/-/15 and $400.00 on -/-/15. We believe that deposits are actually cleared and posted on the same day but not credited.
