I was contacted via e-mail on - about my Chase credit card. It was being used in a suspicious manner. Turned out there were - instances of fraud using my card number this month. I immediately contacted Chase to cancel the account and report the fraud. The last case of fraud was local and the person is on the store security video. I attempted to file a police report with the local authorities but they needed an affidavit of fraud from Chase. Chase claimed to know nothing about this form and would not provide it. I have been on the phone with Chase numerous times and have not been given answers. In - case I was put on hold and hung up after over - minutes! I have since received a card from Chase to alert me that my account had been closed to protect me from fraud and it says there had been no fraud against my account. I asked Chase about the exact meaning of this but they give me the runaround, not providing answers. I have just about had it with them. I have been a great customer and do n't deserve this kind of treatment.
