PayPal Credit card department,
On -/-/2015, I received a letter from - - Bank - Paypal. They state that the letter is in response to a request to open a PayPal Credit account, and that their records show that I requested to open an account or to make a purchase using the PayPal credit payment method on -/-/2015. They say they can not approve me for the following reason : My credit bureau indicates a freeze on inquiries. First of all, I opened a PayPal Credit account well over a year ago. It has a $ - line of credit, and their system states that I have about $1700.00 available credit. So they are obviously not turning down the line of credit. Second of all, I never attempted to make a purchase via PayPal Credit on -/-/2015 or even used a credit card through their system on that date. Moreover, I have had a freeze on my credit bureau for close to - months now, have made prior purchases on the PayPal credit system without them pulling a new credit bureau, so even if I had attempted to make a purchase through PayPal, I have no idea what they are talking about or why they sent me this letter.
