JPMorgan Chase Credit card department,
Closing/Cancelling account Pennsylvania
My company got a Chase - credit card. The person that applied for the card left the company last year and no longer works for the company. The account was paid and had a - balance when we called and closed the account last year. The company kept the account opened and charged the annual fee and continued to charge the late fees for nonpayment. We did not receive any bills for over - months and only last week we received an email saying the account was past due and closed because of non-payment. I called the customer service number and was transferred back and forth for over - hours looking for someone that could reverse the charges. I was finally transferred a supervisor named - -, who said the only person that could close the account was the person that no longer works for the company, which we ca n't get a hold of. We asked that all the unauthorized charges be removed and he said he would not and threatened to keep on accruing interest and late fees on charges that was never authorized and additional late fees.
