I have attended - - - since 2009 in - Michigan ( - - Big - -, -, MI - ( - ) - ), took a break and due to the opportunity scholarship that they promote decided to go back and finish my - Degree. I was informed that I qualified to attend two years free tuition with no payments having to be made. Not even a full - semesters in, I am getting e-mails and calls that I owe $600.00 plus tuition for each semester. I informed - - that I was set up by a fin-aid representative by the name of - that I would be attending free for two years due to me being a former student '' and qualifying for the scholarship. She informed me that it was only for - semester and that I now owe $600.00 plus for a prior semester of which I was supplied with the scholarship. '' I informed - - that if I knew that I would end up having to pay the upward amount of $600.00 per semester I would not have attended - -. I feel that I was lied to and manipulated into receiving said scholarship. I am now receiving bills for having to pay unsubsidized and subsidized loans around the mark of $18000.00 and $16000.00 respectively. I would like my information to be added to the lawsuit because they are predatory and falsify information to benefit the schools profit.
