We called to place a stop payment order on a check with Wells Fargo bank, was told that the order was placed, but 10 days later the check was cashed. We called Wells Fargo and they admitted they made a mistake, but would not help us resolve the situation in any way. This was highly disruptive for our organization because we are a - and services from that check were not rendered, which is why we needed the stop payment, and now we have no way of reclaiming those funds an Wells Fargo has refused to help us in any way.
