PayPal Credit card department,
On - - 2015, Paypal Credit conducted, without my authorization, a hard credit check on my credit card account and reported this check to - - on - - 2015. I did not verbally or in writing do a PayPal Credit application. I did not contact Paypal Credit for a new card. I did not contact Paypal Credit for a new credit limit or a different interest rate for my existing PayPal credit card account. I tried, unsuccessfully, to resolve this with PayPal Credit by phone on - -. I have sent PayPal Credit a letter demanding that they provide me with proof of my authorization to conduct a hard credit check on my account - which is good standing. It is my understanding that if I did nothing to merit such a credit check that PayPal Credit must legally take action to have this report removed from my credit record.
