Citibank Mortgage department,
Conventional adjustable mortgage (ARM) Loan modification, collection, foreclosure Florida
Client applied for a loan modification and was denied because they calculated her income in error. The lender recalculated the income and then denied her because her housing to income ratio was 31.42 % and needs to be 38 % or higher. On -/-/-/-/2015 I called the lender spoke to a supervisor and he said for the in house modification 38 % or higher is correct and the loan is a DSI ( daily simple interest ) and not HAMP modifiable. I asked him what HAMP rule or guideline precludes modification of DSI? he said certain investors do not have to follow HAMP guidelines even if they service the loan. He was not able to provide me with the name of the investor. He also told me they automatically add 20 % to the Social Security income for inflation. I am waiting on the denial letter from lender still.
