Identity theft / Fraud / Embezzlement Virginia
I am currently In the - and my sensitive information stolen out of my vehicle - of 2013. I was attempting to purchase a house and saw I had a chase credit card on my credit. I contacted chase and disputed the card under the grounds of I never received or owned a chase credit card. They proceeded to do the investigation and said that I was responsible for covering the charges. I currently have talked to multiple people in their chain of command and they all say I am responsible. I notifed them that my debit cards and my whole wallet was stolen with my social security card and all. They still said that I have to pay the total amount on the account. I do n't know what to do because I have never had this issue before and I do n't have a credit card other that my military one and my bank credit card.
