I woke up - around - to find my vehicle missing from my friend 's apartment complex, which is about - miles from my house. I called the police, because I thought it was stolen. The police told me it was repossessed by TitleMax. I called TitleMax, speaking with a - -. She told me that I could n't access my vehicle, even to get my belongings until I paid $830.00. I live in -, -, but she told me the car had been taken to - -, -. I need the vehicle to get to work, and I may even lose my job by not having the getting to work today! It was my understanding that I would get a notice before the company repossessed, because they in the payment I must make to get back the car, they told me it included a repossession fee, which by law requires a 10 day notice in -. She said she could n't give it to me until -, but it was already - and I told her so. She said she didn ; t care, and for saying that she would just hold make me wait all day to get my vehicle. I then told her that I needed to take medication that was in the vehicle, and that t the very least I needed to get the medication out of the car, if I was n't allowed to take it off the lot. She told me no. I begged again, saying that I really needed it, and the man with her said no. I explained that I was n't feeling well, a nd really needed it, so the woman finally rummaged around the car, even after I told her where it was, she said there was n't any medication in the car. Finally, she found the medication in the vehicle, but that was after I -, because I could n't -. The man thought I was faking, and yelled at me, which I heard as I came to,. He called me - and said other humiliating things to me. All while I was struggling to get up, and find my bearings. Then the woman threw my medication at me, and told me to get off the lot, and that I ca n't get my car today. It was not only ridiculous, but a humiliating and demoralizing experience, while I was physically ill. I called TitleMax back, and they said that it was out of their hands, even though, they are the ones who hired this tow company, and thye gave the okay to release my car. - do call -, but they said that they would n't release the vehicle until the police arrived, but I already had to get back to return the vehicle I had borrowed to get to release my car. They told him they called an ambulance, but no ambulance showed up while I was there, or after they kicked me off the lot. I called after I got back, and the tow woman is angry at me for being belligerent '' and acting like a fool '' but I was having a very hard time -, and needed my medication before I -, of course I was angry when they refused to give me my car. She said she had the right to kick me off private property, but I also had the right to my own private property, my vehicle.
